This wedding at the Reef Resort Cayman Islands was perfect for Carina and Chris. Hidden away in the East End of the Cayman Islands they were joined by their family and friends right on the beach where Chris asked Carina to be his wife on the sandy beach. When Carina’s dad came into the room to see her for the first time he couldn’t hold back the tears (mum neither). After the ceremony we took some photos on the pier and some fun family photos and then everyone sat down right there on the beach for the reception. Everyone signed a map of the Caribbean instead of a signing book which was so cute, so the couple will be able to frame the map and have all the special comments their friends and family wrote always there to read.
Here’s their story:
“We worked together at Wagner college in NYC coaching water polo. He was the head coach and I was the assistant coach. We started dating six months after we started coaching together. We knew it wasn’t ideal since we worked together but we knew it was meant to be. Sometimes you just can’t help who you fall in love with! we did Kept the relationship quiet so we would not disrupt the flow of the team. My coaching position was for two years so last summer I started a new job in Manhattan. He still coaches at Wagner and does a great job! They won their conference tournament last year and went to the NCAA tournament. It was only fitting getting married by the ocean, our favorite place to be! ”
