Surprise Engagement Session in the Cayman Islands

We chose our vacation/engagement because we love sun, sand, and adventures! The Cayman Islands gave us the opportunity to stay on the world famous Seven Mile beach, dive shipwrecks, swim with sea turtles, and explore amazing cuisine! Why wouldn’t someone chose the Grand Cayman?!?
Randy called me a few weeks before the ‘day’ and asked how could this EPIC event go down? We decided on a deserted beach in the sound, rather then the busy beach so Randy could have the privacy to go down on one knee. Once they were picked up from the Ritz Carlton by their ‘driver’ (AKA Gaz the husband) they were dropped off to Surfers Beach where their was a bottle of Champagne waiting. Randy went down on his knee and presented the ring that was hidden in his hat. Katie was shocked and cried and…… SAID YES!
Randy and Katie then headed off to Grand Old House for their fantastic meal which they enjoyed right on the rocks by the ocean in a gorgeous little setup.
She is an amalgam of the best superlatives! Kind, strong, intelligent, beautiful, successful, and sweet for starters. Her friendship, love, and support are the catalyst for my drive to be the best version of myself. She is my best friend and my world!
I’ve never met a more loving, compassionate, hardworking, and driven man in my life. He motivates me to be the best partner and person I can be. He’s my shoulder to lean on and my biggest cheerleader when I succeed, or need encouragement. His love is unwavered and pure. He is my best friend.
We hoped to capture the essence of the engagement surprise engulfed with the beach and love!
Rebecca was fantastic to work with! Her husband and daughter being there to support and assist made the adventure even better. We loved the location, time of day, and ideas Rebecca gave us for photos. Having every moment captured is truly something we will cherish for life.
