Sonya and Daniel chose the Marriott Grand Cayman Islands to hold their amazing wedding. Sonya looked incredible as her family helped her get ready for the wedding, they laid out all her things as she finished hair and makeup and we made sure we took time to photograph every little thing. During the ceremony we took time to capture each special event of this incredible event with so much culture.
Here is their story:
We were introduced to each other by mutual friends at Keeneland horse racing park in Lexington, Kentucky. That day Daniel thought he was going on a blind date and Sonya thought she was just meeting friends at the horse track. That day we bet on horses and discussed life’s mysteries. We started off as friends, even though we both knew that we had an instant connection. As our friendship grew into dating we learned that we had more in common by our love of nature and hiking, being vegetarian, cooking, the arts, yoga, and spirituality. As a couple we had many similar interests including both of us attending Xavier university where we received our Master’s degrees and have completed our yoga teacher training.
