Rachel + Benton | Grand Cayman Beach Suites

November 8, 2012

Rachel and Benton tied the knot in a beautiful intimate ceremony right on Seven Mile Beach in front of Grand Cayman Beach Suites.  Rachel was just stunning in that dress…and that smile!  Just gorgeous!  You could feel the love these two share and it was so great to see them with their family and friends, sharing their special day!  I left this awesome group enjoying their dinner at Hemingways and met up with the bride and groom first thing the next morning for a Trash the Dress shoot – what a blast!  I’ll let Rachel tell you what she thought of the Trash the Dress shoot… “Rebecca was absolutely wonderful to work with – professional, creative, helpful, knowledgeable, and flexible.  I especially loved working with her in our “Trash the Dress” session the day after our wedding.  I didn’t even “Trash” my dress.  We just spent an hour with Rebecca going to different locations around the island and getting some fabulous shots.  I did my own makeup and hair for the session, which wasn’t hard at all.  I highly recommend this for all couples.  It was so much fun!”

Thanks guys!  I had so much fun with you and I’m so thankful you chose me to be a part of your big day!  Congratulations!

Planning/Coordination: Marina Flynn from Grand Cayman Beach Suites

Flowers: Carlos from Every Blooming Thing – www.ebt.com.ky/ (“Marina took care of ordering the flowers for our bouquets and boutonnieres.  I told her the colors I was looking for and [Carlos from Every Blooming Thing] pulled something together that was just gorgeous!”)

Hair: Spa-to-Go – www.spatogo.ky (” Spa-to-Go was so convenient and the stylist did an AMAZING job!”)

Make-Up: “I did my own make-up (after watching a couple of tutorials on youtube, ha!)”

Dress: Rachel has an awesome tip for those of you who have to travel with your dress 🙂 – “I was nervous that my dress would be very wrinkled after dragging it through airports, but it wasn’t too bad.  And I brought a travel sized steamer with me, which was key.  The wrinkles came out pretty easily with  the steamer.  Great investment!  I wore my dress for the next day photo session with Rebecca.  It really didn’t get dirty at all.  In fact, I’m not even going to spend the money to have it dry cleaned before our hometown reception.”
