Seven Mile Beach Grand Cayman was the beach Kendra and Chris said their vows at the Westin Resort and Spa. Kendra was walked down the aisle by one of her brothers and they were married just before the sun set. Their vows were just lovely and had Kendra in tears and a few of their friends! After the wedding we went down to the ocean and they had their official photo bomber…. who also from Texas recognized quickly that Chris needed a cowboy hat to complete his look, so generously lent his to him. It was a great day and lots of fun. Congrats guys…
Here is their story:
“We lived in the same apartment complex here in Houston a few years ago and actually met walking our dogs/letting them play together. I also used to run in the area behind the complex and after first meeting Chris started to see a lot more of him in that area, running as well. He used to claim it was “coincidence” but has since divulged he would only go out there when he knew I would be running. 🙂
We dated for about 2 and a half years before he proposed- he rented a small airplane (he’s a pilot for united) and flew us around Houston. Then popped the question while we were over the area/lot where we built our new house!”
-I found my dress it at Venturas in Houston. After searching a few other stores. It was the last one I tried on before almost settling for a different one. It was a very lucky find!
-We chose to go barefoot on the beach for the ceremony!
-my friend and I did hair and makeup
-we used celebrations for decor
-the Westin was an absolutely amazing venue! Could not have had better service or perfect location
