The Venue
Julian always wanted to get married in Cayman, and I dreamed of being able to get married in my own private, luscious garden. The seafront property we rented in the end was the perfect enclave to take shelter in.
How did Julian propose
He proposed by the riverside in New Orleans Park, Richmond-upon-Thames, before celebrating with dinner at Petersham Nurseries. A beautiful summer evening, but I was rather expecting it since we had already had our formal civil partnership appointment around a month or so prior.
Surrounded by family and friends
Having our friends and family play such a large part of our ceremony and day really made it feel that much more of an intimate celebration.
The Decor
AI rentals did the equipment, but all other decoration was done at my hen party the night before. We had a very busy night crafting and were up early putting this out. Thank you ladies!
The Reception
Instead of the usual lineup of speeches we chose to have only our brother’s and sisters do speeches, for the bad and the beautiful.
