La Susana, the Villa that Amy and Brian celebrated their wedding looking out on the crystalline shades of the Mediterranean. Located 10 minutes from Marbella, it provided the perfect backdrop for their gorgeous wedding. Very near the famous picturesque old town, its ancient architecture and maze of narrow cobbled streets, Amy and Brian escaped after their “I Do’s” for some intimate pictures.

How did you both meet
We briefly met on a night out. Brian then asked me to go to a comedy gig the next week which happened to be my favourite comedian and we have been inseparable ever since.
THE DRESS
I found my dress in the second shop I went to. It was the first dress I tried on in the boutique and I instantly knew it was the one. I must have tried on 5/6 more dresses in the shop and I would step out of the dressing room to show my mom sister and one of my bridesmaids lucy and go nope it’s still the first one every time. I think I really got that giddy feeling when I got back into the first dress and she put the veil on! I then knew I wanted to be able to change up the dress for the evening so I had the skirt of the dress made to be detachable and found my dream neck scarf to take my look from day to night. I ADORED my dress on the day of the wedding as much as that first time I put it on.
Tara from wedouniqueweddings is one in a million. She was a gem to work with from start to finish. There was no task too big, no question unanswered and always there to put us at ease over a WhatsApp video call when we were stressed or needed advice. I can genuinely say I can’t imagine the wedding would have been as flawless as it was without her. Tara is not only a wedding planner but definitely a friend for life!
THE FIRST LOOK
La Susana was the perfect setting for the first look with Amy and her dad, with the classic old Spanish home and decor.
HOW DID BRIAN POP THE QUESTION
Brian proposed to me at sunset in Oia Santorini, Greece one day into our holiday over a sneaky bottle of champagne on the steps of the Venetian Castle. I couldn’t have picked a nicer setting if he tried.
THE AISLE
I thought I would be crying walking down the aisle along with my dad but we smiled the whole way down. The second I locked eyes with Brian my
smile got bigger and bigger. It was at that moment it really dawned on me that all the people we love were in one place at the same time, I felt nothing but love and being so in the moment.
THE VENUE
Our venue La Susana was nothing less than magic. It had everything. Luxury, sea and Mountain views, we could have half our guests on site for three days and more importantly two pools that were inevitably going to be used the wedding night. Haha it was simply breathtaking. When we came to Marbella to view venues it was the last venue of the day and I remember we were there no more than five minutes and we looked at each other and just said it has to be here doesn’t it and we booked it the next day.

CHAMPAGNE TOWER
I loved the champagne tower it was a lot of fun. Rebecca and Noah really put us at ease and made every picture opportunity alot of fun.
SPEECHES
We did a lot of things traditional but one thing We did untraditional was I did a speech and I’m so happy I did it. I loved being able to talk about my family and say a few words about Brian.
