The Dress
I went to four different bridal stores and found a few dresses that were okay, but never fell in love. I eventually decided to try something completely different from what I originally had in mind – I never thought I’d go for an A-line or anything with volume. But as soon as I tried it on it was the one!

Wedding Planner
Wanderlust Wedding Planning- I honestly couldn’t have done it without them. Raquel and her team were so patient, kind, and lovely throughout the entire process. They were incredible to work with while planning, and having them there on the day made all the difference.

The Venue
My parents have an apartment in Marbella and basically live there half the year at this point! Growing up, I spent weeks there every summer, Easter, and Halloween – and Niall has joined every summer for the past ten years. It’s such a special place for us, so we always knew we’d get married in Marbella.
I saw an Irish wedding at Finca Monasterio a few years ago, and my mum and I were in awe. We both instantly said, “Yep, this is where we’re getting married.” The gardens completely sold it for us – the landscape is just incredible. Finca Monasterio is a rustic yet breathtaking venue, and I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out.

Decor
Deseos Florists did our flowers and completely brought our vision to life- I still can’t get over how beautiful they were! They completely exceeded our expectations and even delivered them to our Day 2 venue the next day.
We rented glassware and napkins from Cashmere Tablewear and they were incredible. Finca Monasterio provided everything else, and I designed the menus and name cards and welcome sign myself.

First Look
I did a first look with my dad, a proud Irishman who I’ve only seen cry once before- but that moment made it twice! It was so special and a memory I’ll never forget.

How did you both meet
We met at a house party when we were 18 and the rest is history! Starting dating soon after and here we are 10 years later 🙂

How did Niall pop the question
We were going for lunch to celebrate his birthday in Dubai, where we live, and the restaurant had a beautiful long promenade. As soon as we stepped onto it, he got down on one knee!

The Aisle
This moment was the highlight of the entire wedding for me. Seeing Niall at the top of the altar, surrounded by all our closest friends and family who had travelled for our destination wedding – it was overwhelming in the best possible way. All my nerves went away as soon as I saw everyone!

Special Mention
I suppose having Niall’s best friend as our celebrant was quite non-traditional, but we couldn’t be happier with that decision- it made the ceremony so personal and meaningful.

Taking Photos
We were quite unprepared and had no idea what kind of photos we wanted, so having Rebecca and the team guide us through it all was such a fun experience. She made every moment feel lighthearted with her witty jokes that had us laughing and truly living in the moment. The entire Wild Love Artists team was absolutely incredible.
