THE DRESS
I actually found my wedding dress before I ever stepped into a boutique. I was scrolling through Instagram when I came across a photo of a gown from another photographer that immediately caught my eye. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. After months of searching and researching, I finally discovered the designer was Pronovias and booked an appointment, along with a few others just in case. I visited one bridal boutique on Miracle Mile first and tried on several beautiful dresses, but none of them felt like me. When I arrived at Pronovias, I was told the dress I originally wanted was in Europe and unavailable. Instead, they suggested I try on another gown. The moment I put it on, I knew it was the one. It felt effortless and completely right, and everyone in the room agreed. I was surrounded by my mom, my sister Amanda, my sister-in-law Courtney, my daughters Lacey and Cassidy, and my nieces Chloe and Charlie. Having all of them there made the moment even more special and unforgettable.

Alex proposed on the it’s a small world ride at Magic Kingdom, I was completely surprised (the video shows it :)! We got engaged at the most magical place on earth.

I wasn’t anxious at all that day not even about the weather. I just felt calm. I knew Daddy was watching over us. LOL.
A fun little moment though. Charlotte kept reminding everyone all morning to make sure whoever had the rings didn’t leave them in the room or forget them somewhere. So naturally, we told Charlotte she was officially in charge of the rings. We even had them in two boxes.
Sure enough, during the ceremony, Rev. Myers went to retrieve the rings and Charlotte handed over the wrong box. I found it absolutely hilarious because I was the only one who knew how worried she had been about the rings all along.

It felt like it was magical, every guest said the same thing you could feel the love.
