Cayman Islands Intimate Wedding |Katie and Ed

April 3, 2020

Katie & Ed Radford came to the Cayman Islands for an Intimate Wedding with only their family. Renting a gorgeous villa to host their pre and post wedding celebrations, the family had an incredible space to relax and cook and enjoy the island.

How did you find your dress?

I was with my two sisters and my mom. We had been to multiple stores and I had tried on around 60 dresses with no luck. We found my dress at the very last store we went to. I knew it was the one right when I put it on and when I came out both my sisters and mom cried.

How did you find the grooms suit?

Ed and my dad chose the suits together. They wore matching suits and went in to get measured together.

What was your favourite moments from the wedding?

The whole thing was my favorite part

How did you feel during your vows or just before you walked down the aisle?nervous, excited, and so thankful

Ed asked me to marry him on New Years Day (2019) right at midnight. We were at a cabin in Luray on the Shenandoah river for the weekend. It was just the two of us and our two dogs. We were talking about what we wanted to accomplish in the coming year and he said one of his goals in 2020 was to make me his wife and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?Amazing, exactly our personalities, and so much more awesome and love filled than either of us could have imagined.

What advice would you offer other couples planning a destination wedding?

Don’t stress about the details. It will all come together in the end. As long as you are marrying the right person it doesn’t matter how many things go wrong it will still be perfect.
