The Cayman Islands is where it all began 🙂 If it wasn’t for Cayman, we would not have met or fallen in love.

How did you two meet?

We met by a chance encounter in Grand Cayman and kept in contact upon Sophia’s return to the US. Our friendship soon grew into a relationship and 3 and a half years later, a few dozens of trips and visit, here we are back in Grand Cayman where it all began to celebrate our union!

I found my dress in the Winnie Couture Bridal Atellier located in Atlanta (Buckhead), GA. I was wedding dress shopping with my mother when I spotted the dress in the Atellier. It was love at first site and embodied all the design elements I had been searching for…after look at a few dozen bridal boutiques and stores! I then planned a fun dress reveal with my bridesmaids and daughter to reveal THE dress.

The bride wore a sixpence coin in her shoe for good fortune and prosperity, along with her ‘something old, something, new, something borrowed and something new’. We carried out a newer tradition of the sand ceremony to blend our new family and include our daughter in the union. Peter presented our daughter Chloe’ and Sophia with matching rings to symbolize our growing bond and full circle of love that the 3 of us create.

Yes, we did the ‘First Look’ and we both really enjoyed getting to see each other before the ceremony and get out the jitters! Not to mention the pictures turned out beautiful! I love that it gave us additional time to capture intimate moments of just the two of us.

How would you describe your overall wedding experience?
BEAUTIFUL…everything was simply beautiful and all we had dreamed of! Juliette truly did an amazing job on all decor and planning aspects and managed to visually pull off the wedding of our dreams. Everyone in attendance was in awe! The location and beautiful night under the stars with perfect weather was the icing on the cake!

What advice would you offer other couples planning a destination wedding?
Have an awesome planner and photographer!!! If those two aspects are taken care of, you will have considerable less stress and a wedding to remember and cherish for the years to come!

Our ‘First Look’ experience with Rebecca definitely calmed our nerves for the walk down the aisle. We both felt excited and eager for the ceremony!

Absolutely awesome and amazing!! The only regret I have is not hiring you for the whole weekend! You are so pleasant and such a joy to work with and your positive vibes are infectious. My bridal party and family just loved you and were so impressed with you and your skills….they are just as eager to see the beautiful photos as we are! Working with you was effortless and a dream.

First song as husband and wife: Brian McKnight-Love of My Life
Father-Daughter Dance: Isn’t She Lovely-Stevie Wonder

What was your favourite moments from the wedding?
Favorite moments were performing the sand ceremony with Chloe’, when the kids had their jam session on the dance floor(they killed it and danced better than most of the adults LOL), the father-daughter dance, the sparkler exit and witnessing our guests enjoy themselves.

Word of Mouth…..Rebecca is so awesome and experienced, it made it pretty easy to find out who was the best wedding photographer on island ;). She lived up to every expectation and recommendation that was made, we were so pleased and happy with the sneak peek pictures we have seen thus far…even our bridal party and guests loved her and thought she did an amazing job! We would refer her in a heartbeat to anyone!
