THE DRESS
I chose my dress the very first weekend I went dress shopping just 6 months before the wedding. My mom, sister and my new baby girl came with me which was special. The next week, I brought my best friends to see it, and before I even showed them, one of them picked out the exact same dress, saying I should try it on. That’s when I knew—it was definitely the one.
FIRST LOOK
I did a first look with my dad and family—it was such a special, emotional moment. We all shed a few tears, which was good to get them out of the system, then we felt ready and excited for a day full of celebration and fun!
HOW DID YOU MEET
We started dating in Sydney while living in Bondi Beach. Being abroad and away from family brought us close quickly.
SPECIAL MOMENTS
My grandparents couldn’t fly from Ireland, so I attached a miraculous medal my granny sent to my bouquet. It meant a lot to have a little piece of them with me on the day.

HOW DID MICHAEL POP THE QUESTION
In Marbella, after a swim on a quiet beach, Michael showed me a video of our relationship set to our favorite song—and then he proposed! After lots of happy tears, we celebrated with lunch at Barbillon, we loved it so much we later chose it as the venue for our wedding reception!
THE AISLE
I felt pure joy and excitement walking into the church with my dad, seeing all our friends and family there. I’d dreamed of getting married in that church since childhood, so it felt surreal. After a wonderful morning getting ready, seeing Michael holding our baby girl, Willow Rose, at the top of the aisle filled me with love and gratitude for our little family.

BEST NIGHT EVER
We knew we both wanted the day just to be filled with so much fun and dancing. We brought lots of energy because we were genuinely having the best time—and everyone matched the energy! From our first dance to the lights coming on at 3 a.m., we didn’t leave the dance floor and Michael found his new side gig as a DJ! It truly was the best night ever for us!
DECOR
Deseos Florist was incredible. Karen created stunning floral displays for the church, our entrance, seating plan, and tables—especially the top table. The flowers were more beautiful than we could have imagined and we are so grateful to deseos florist!
VENUE
Barbillon is a beautiful beach restaurant and chill beach club—modern, classy, and chic. We fell in love with it after a celebratory lunch post-engagement. It offered stunning sea views, a terrace, a cocktail area by the beach with an old Spanish tower, and a gorgeous outdoor dining space among palm trees. Plus, it was just 15 minutes from our church—perfect for our day.
SETUP
Star Events, led by Steve, made our reception magical—from the long white carpet and chandeliers to lit palm trees, sparklers, and poolside ambience. We couldn’t recommend him more!
CANDLES
Candles by Angela provided all the candles around the pool, creating a stunning setting at Barbillon Marbella.
MUSIC
Steve from Stereo Star Bands and the Malaga Roamers created a fun, relaxed vibe for our reception. Stereo star bands provided the band and DJ, set up the stage, dance floor, and lighting, making our party unforgettable.
VENUE COORDINATOR
Linda, Barbillon Marbella’s events coordinator, was amazing. She handled every detail, ensured excellent staff, food, and drinks, and made the venue look beautiful. We’re so grateful for her kindness and support in making our day perfect.
