A maternity session is a great way to capture this new life journey for your family….. sharing this epic moment with your husband and child before you welcome in your new little person. The images you can capture on the beach or in a field with the gorgeous golden light is so beautiful. Here Nedra and Sonji shared his moment with Shiloh who is 5 and pretty excited to meet her new sibling. I first met these guys at their wedding in 2013 and remember the fun ideas Sonji had up his sleeve to do with the bridal party! Their wedding was epic!
Nedra wanted to capture some family photos with them as a family of three before baby #2 arrives.
I just think this matching outfit with mother and daughter is so cute. Dad balances it out perfectly with his pink shirt. We did a change of outfits half way through so the session had some diversity and helped bring in a different look.
We captured the beautiful golden light through the trees.
Love the different location and colours of this shoot. We went from the green park area to the beach.
Changing into a second outfit, adding balloons was pretty genius of mum to do as it added plenty of steam for this little one to give me some great shots of her running and splashing.
A maternity session isn’t all just about the bump! Its kinda about Shiloh too… especially when you have this much energy!
Including the other family members will make them feel excited to for their new brother or sister, especially when they are set free at the end to run and jump as they please.
