How did you meet
We met for the first time at the Walkers Christmas Party. Des was outside chatting with the valet and Des offered to walk me to my car, what can I say we ended up getting married and the rest, as they say, is history.
The Proposal
He got down on one knee at Ivy Asia in St Paul’s, London.
The Planner
DLC Events – We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with our wedding planner. From the very beginning, she was organized, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life. Every detail was handled with care, and her creativity helped turn our ideas into something even more beautiful than we imagined as well as doubling up as a marriage counselor from time to time.
The Venue
We chose Pedro not just for the breathtaking view, but for the atmosphere the grounds create as a whole. From the moment we stepped onto the property, there was a sense of openness and natural beauty that felt both relaxed and special at the same time.
The Decor
We were genuinely so happy with how the decor turned out. DLC Events did such an incredible job bringing our vision together. It reflected exactly the atmosphere we wanted – warm, intentional, and full of love – and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
The Aisle
As I walked down the aisle, I felt incredibly calm, as if everything was exactly as it was meant to be. It felt like time slowed down, and all that mattered was the two of us.
Shout Outs
What really stood out to us was how seamlessly everything came together on the day. It all felt even more beautiful and effortless than we had imagined. There wasn’t just one single moment, but rather the overall experience of seeing every detail fall into place and feeling fully present with our friends and family.
We were especially impressed with our photographer and videographer. They captured everything so naturally and thoughtfully, allowing us to truly enjoy the day while knowing those moments were being preserved. Looking back, that combination of everything running smoothly and having those memories captured so perfectly is what made the day feel truly special and unique to us.
The Dance
We were a bit nervous about our first dance, especially since we only rehearsed it the night before, but it turned out perfectly.
