How was your experience taking photos
We liked working with you! You were fun and personable.
We met online. E-harmony. Our first date was at Ignite. It was a little wine bar in Carlsbad. I only had a couple of hours because I had to pick up my son from baseball. I remember getting out of my car and walking down the sidewalk texting. I look up and I saw him outside waiting for me. We had dinner and wine and ended up spending much more than 2 hours at Ignite. We ended up going on a second date that week to a concert. So thankful we found each other
How did he pop the question
We were in Cabo and he rented a small boat for the kids and ourselves. He started out by talking to each child and telling them an experience they had gone through this year and then he talked about us and how we had grown together etc and then the song die a happy man started playing and he sang it to me and then asked me to be his wife under the Cabo arch. The kids and I were all surprised. My daughter only got one picture of it .
Did you see each other before the wedding
No we didn’t. We wanted a little tradition added to that day. Glad we did it that way.
What made you choose the Cayman Islands for your destination wedding
Neither one of us had spent any time there and we wanted a house big enough for our family on the ocean.
We wrote our vows. Very emotional for both of us.
Todd said his was looking into my eyes and feeling safe. Mine was hearing him say his vows to me.
We regret not doing the trash the dress pictures. Or the day after pictures.
Were there any unique items or moments
in your wedding that you would like to highlight
The gigantic swan that was already at the house we rented added some fun pictures
It was great. It is hard to plan a destination wedding not really knowing what to expect. You hope that everything that you have told the planner happens. In our case it did. It turned out absolutely beautiful!
