This gorgeous Rum Point wedding was held at a private villa overlooking the Caribbean Ocean surrounded by their friends and family. And, of course, their two gorgeous boys!
Even more perfect than I’d ever imagined.
We had our whole wedding planned out for Erie, PA. Decided we wanted it to be more about the two of us and what we wanted so we canceled everything the next day and booked our flight to Cayman for a small intimate ceremony with just us and our closest family. Best decision ever!
We both worked in the medical field, me at a doctors office and Gus at a hospital. I had to call him every morning for lab reports and somehow just hearing his voice I knew I wanted to meet him. We both had the same daily patients who would always mention the other to each of us. Finally after a few months he started working weekends at the infusion center I ran, our paths finally crossed and we we’ve been basically inseparable since.
I was insanely nervous until I saw him and once I started walking towards him I was completely calm and just saw him. Everyone and everything else just disappeared and all I saw was him.
He secretly ordered an outfit for our newborn son. On July 4, 2014 we were at a family bbq and he went to lay the baby down upstairs. A few minutes later I was told he was asking for me upstairs to help with our baby. When I went up and picked up our son I I saw his onesie that said “Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?” with a ring attached. When I turned around he was on his knee!

We saw each other all day up until about an hour and a half or so before the wedding. We still had the surprise factor of not seeing each other in our suit or dress until I walked down the aisle and we wouldn’t have wanted it any different.
Incredible! You did an amazing job at giving direction (which we both needed) and made sure to ask about any specific photos we had in mind. You’re so personable and we both felt completely comfortable and natural with you!
