Simon and Angie

Private Garden Wedding

Wedding Planner: Ms. Carol Braggs – a dear family friend

Cake Maker: Treats

Officiant: Rev. Donovan Myers

Hair and Makeup: Jackie Soriano and Trina

Shoes: Davids Bridal

Flowers/Decor: Flower Dell

Every morning when the baby monitor goes off Simon gets out of bed and goes into Ray’s room and brings him back to our bed for cuddles. It is the sweetest part of our day which is filled with love for our baby and each other. One morning Ray came into our bed with a special surprise for me in his hands which was a sign that read “Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?” Simon then presented me with a beautiful ring and I said yes to both of them 🙂

We were blessed with the birth of our son Ray on 7 February 2017 and we couldn’t have given him a better 1st birthday present than to have his Mommy and Daddy get married. Rev Myers did a beautiful blessing for our son following the blessing of our marriage. We not only promised to love and take care of each other on our wedding day but we made that same promise to our son which was so special and important to us.

Flower Dell created the perfect bouquets and decor using white hydrangea, blush pink roses, white dendro orchids and lisianthus. She was amazing and I highly recommend her to everyone. Not only is she an amazing florist but she has the sweetest decor in her shop for rent. It felt like we walked into a Pinterest store!

We met over a decade ago when Simon was the limo driver for my friend’s birthday. I never forgot the kind and patient (also adorable!) man that took such good care of my friends and I that night. Years and years went by and the universe continued trying to push us together without our knowledge until one day we crossed paths and I walked straight over to him and introduced myself. It was simply magic and we knew, almost immediately into our relationship, that we were soul mates and that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

My bridesmaid Amy and I left our babies at home with their Dads and we had a girls weekend away in Miami. We had a day exploring the Wynwood district and visited a couple beautiful boutique style wedding dress shops. I ultimately I ended up loving a dress from David’s Bridal in Coral Gables which was simply “me” and the first dress that I truly felt like a bride in.

We knew we wanted a very casual wedding so linen shirt and pants for the boys was an easy decision.

We did a first look which I would 100% encourage for any couple. We were able to capture a special moment between us without anyone else around which made the moment so much more sweet and genuine.

Spanish Harp: Eugenio Leon / Steel Drums: Michael Lemay’s daughter

We were able to see each other for the first look which alleviated a lot of the pre-ceremony nerves. When it came time for the ceremony we were just filled with excitement and happiness.

Flower Dell did the floral decor, center pieces and provided the decor for the welcome / guestbook table. The groom made the welcome, guestbook and the seating plan signage. He also made the program fans.

Do a first look moment and absolutely hire Rebecca!

Stunning! Our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it to be. It was the most beautiful location and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went so perfectly. It was the wedding of our dreams in every way.

John “Selecta Renagade” Watler

We decided not to do “formal” speeches but instead we invited our guests (in lieu of clinking glasses for us to kiss) to offer a speech or a toast which ended up being one of the highlights of the night for us and our guests and was pure entertainment through dinner.

Even before we got engaged we knew that we wanted Rebecca as our photographer. Not only is she a dear friend of Simon’s who we wanted to be a apart of our special day but she is so incredibly talented. We are both such huge fans of her work so we were extremely excited for her to be the one to capture all our special moments.
Photographers two bits……
I have known Simon for many years….. my boys think he is the most amazing guy on the entire island with the coolest car and the coolest job…. they think he is our own personal limo driver and friend. Being in the wedding industry you meet a lot of people in this field, but Simon has always stood out. His family is amazing and completely adorable, but Simon has always been the most calmest, kindest and sweetest guy I have met. When I met Angie, I couldn’t believe how totally matched they are, so sweet, kind and just lovely!!! And this little guy….. Ray…. well he is totally loved!!!!!!
