The Dress
I loved my dress! I went to one shop, on my birthday, and tried on 5 dresses. It was the 3rd dress I tried on and knew straight away it was the one for me. There was nothing I’d change about it
Where are you both from
We’re both from a small seaside town in Dublin called Skerries
Taking Photos
Having a laugh and letting loose! Privately with myself and emmet with Rebecca getting us to do silly takes and catching the laughter. Also with our friends getting behind the scenes of tik toks and funny videos
How did you both meet
We are both from the same town, and have been friends since we were 11, we ended up in the same school and same class. We grew up together as childhood sweethearts and best friends
How did Emmet pop the question
A complete surprise, after a busy day in December as a hairdresser , he collected me to bring me home for a romantic night in, with candles and matching pjs he had a slideshow of pictures of us over the years
First Look
I did a first look with my Dad, he met me in the villa where I got married. I was so emotional seeing him probably more so than he was seeing me! He wore shades and a sun hat so I’m not sure whether a tear was shed, but I was balling!
The Aisle
I was the happiest I’ve ever felt, I’d give anything to relive it. (I was also very nervous). The second I saw Emmet at the rope of the aisle I felt so excited
Unique bits
For our ceremony using my brother as the host and having emmets brother say a speech was amazing, it made it so personal for us. We also did a “warming of the rings” instead of having a ring boy/girl. We handed out the rings at the start of the ceremony and each guest could give us some good luck or make a little wish holding them. We also did a tie the knot at the ceremony where my brother said an old Irish poem while we tied a ribbon symbolising our marriage
The Vows
We were both so nervous about our vows, just speaking in front of our guests in general. But we both did them looking directly at each other and they were perfect
Traditions

The Kiss
We saw some people online talk about practicing their first kiss , how long they would do it, what way to then, dip or no dip. We didn’t practice a thing nor did we speak about it, we just went for it and it was perfect!
Decor
My two aunties , along with uncles and cousins decorated the venue for us. They handmade table favours, handmade a Photo Booth with blow up props, decorated the tables with flowers. Such an amazing memory I’ll have forever knowing my family played such a big part in my day
The Venue
We chose Finca Villa Palma in Marbella . We loved the outdoor vibes, with flowers and trees and a stream running through the venue. It was 10 mins drive from Marbella town so perfect for guests to find a suitable place to stay without pressure. The views of the mountains and the sea were like a dream
The Reception
We had karaoke and we would highly recommend! It was hilarious, everyone after a few hours of the open bar up singing their favourite songs, brilliant! We also had blow up mics and guitars

From start to finish our day was a dream. We are so happy with how everything went, we wouldn’t change a thing. One thing our friends and family have all mentioned to us was how amazing how photographer was ( Rebecca ), from catching every moment yet not pushy , to having a laugh with everyone and making it all so easy. We loved it!
