THE VENUE
The brief for our wedding was rustic luxury, and Hacienda embodies that effortlessly. It is traditional and understated, yet luxurious in every single way.
The flowers speak for themselves. The décor speaks for itself. The staff are exceptional. And, to top it all off, the food is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced at a wedding.
There is something incredibly magical about Hacienda. It gave us everything we dreamed of for our wedding and more, and it will forever hold such a special place in our hearts. It’s always been a special place for our family, we’ve been going for years as it’s half way between Seville airport and our house in Vejer, it was a no brainer
THE PLANNING
Anthony at Hacienda was already a friend of ours, so we knew we were in safe hands from the start. We told him we wanted rustic luxury and he just got it — he took the whole vision and made it happen.
He’s eccentric, hilarious and completely wonderful. He has this way of seeming like he’s away with the fairies half the time, when actually he’s totally on it and knows exactly what’s going on! He made the whole thing feel so easy and so us, and we honestly wouldn’t have wanted anyone else doing it.
HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET
12 years ago at Luton Town Football Club, where Alex played and my dad was a VP at the end of season dinner, we hit it off straight away and were seeing each other on and off for a bit. WE even went on holiday after just 3 weeks. We never really cut contact but went our separate ways, and then about six and a half years ago decided to meet up and the rest is history.
HOW DID ALEX POP THE QUESTION
Family holiday in Croatia with my family, and all of the couples were going off for a date night. So both my sisters went off with their boyfriends. So I didn’t think anything of it, and we went to a beach club in a really private cabana where he asked me to marry him. It was absolutely magical, one of the happiest days of our lives.We then got to go and celebrate back at the villa with all of the family, which was so fun.
THE DRESS
I went to the shop for this speicifc dress i saw it on the model, knew it was for me and tracked it down. As soon as i put it on i knew it was the one. Mum, Kitty , Evie and Tor

PORTRAITS
I loved how at ease we felt at all times, team totally got our vision. It was fun because it just slotted in with the flow of the day. Loved doing the shots from the baclony.
ANY ANXIETIES
The weather, it was hot hot hot and nobody careddddddd
RECEPTION
Walking into dinner felt completely magical. Seeing everyone we love together, with the flowers, candlelight and all the little details we’d spent so long thinking about, was such a special moment.
And then the party really started! The dance floor was packed all night and genuinely no one wanted to leave. At 3:45am everyone practically had to be dragged off because the coach was threatening to leave without them! I think that says everything about the night, so much love, so much fun, and a party none of us wanted to end.
UNIQUE TOUCHES

TEAM FAMILY
Hacienda really speaks for itself, so we knew from the beginning that we wanted the décor to feel understated and let the venue do the talking. Instead of traditional floral centrepieces, we chose olive trees for the tables — something that could live on beyond the wedding, so our love could carry on growing rather than the flowers simply dying at the end of the night.
Mamen and her team completely understood the assignment. Everything was beautifully understated but still felt incredibly special. We lit up every tree we possibly could in the orchard, and had floating candles glowing in the pool as the evening got darker. The whole space just came alive. It felt intimate, warm and completely magical, and seeing everyone walk in and be genuinely in awe of it was such a special moment for us.
TROLLEY CHAP
What an epic touch to this fabulous wedding! The brides brother came out with a TEQUILA TROLLEY and poured Tequila down those on the dance floor.
A DREAM
For us, it was honestly just the people. Having everyone we love in one place, all there for us, was the best feeling. There was so much love, the vibes were amazing and the energy was just unreal.
It genuinely felt like a dream and we’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. We’ll be replaying in our heads forever.
