We are from the South and both feel that kindness and hospitality are very important. Since we weren’t actually getting married at home, we thought we would incorporate something special from home which would be the pineapple as it symbol of hospitality but also a has very tropical feel.

I had tried on a lot of dresses in Lubbock, TX where I currently live – while they were very lovely none had the quite the vintage southern elegance of satin and lace that I had been looking for. Dean and I had an Engagement Party in Virginia and I knew this might be one of my only chances to shop for my gown “at home” with my Mom. I made an appointment to go to Dashing Dames bridal and I fell in love with the very first dress and veil I tried on. It was a magical moment for me and I was so blessed to have been able to share it with my Mom in NC.

I’ve always loved a classic Tux.

Yes, we wanted to maximize the photography time as well get the most out of our day and our time with our guests. I’m so glad decided to have the first look, we had a great time spending time together  and taking pictures without lots of people around. It was some of the most intimate moments of the day because it felt like it was only the two of us together for just a little while – for the rest of the evening we were so busy having a fabulous time with our guests.

Rebecca is so much fun and knows exactly what she is doing. Trust her and don’t be afraid to let loose and laugh at yourself and each other. Real smiles are the best smiles.

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?
I felt like I had known you for my whole life. You were very accommodating to my wishes but gave excellent direction at the same time. You made everything so fun. Rebecca, you were a delight!

Abundantly Blessed

That someone would be late or something would go wrong and the whole day/evening would be thrown off. I was worried for no reason, everything was absolutely perfect. We had the time of our life and I think everyone ended up being pretty laid back and right on time.

“My Cup Runneth Over”-

Get a wedding planner. Book far enough in advance where you don’t feel stressed and your guests have ample time to make arrangements should they wish to join.

Stand By Me- Matt Johnson You’ve Got A Friend- James Taylor Mom- Garth Brooks

The whole day was absolutely perfect. I wouldn’t change one thing except that it went by so incredibly fast. Watching my Dad dance and have such a great time was a definite peak, I wish I had his moves.

We read a lot of great reviews.
