I looked at hundreds if not thousands of dresses online and while watching the TV show “Say Yes To The Dress”. Nothing stuck out at me until I ran across my dress in a wedding app one day. And upon further investigation I realized that the boutique in my state to carry the designer Stella York was having a trunk show that weekend featuring the designer and offering discounts, I took it as a sign and made an appointment. I tried on a few dresses but needles to say I picked the one I went there for and I love it.
Yes, we saw each other before the ceremony and I would not have changed it. It was wonderful to have time to ourselves just to take it all in together. It was also helpful in getting some special photos without being too rushed after the ceremony.
Desiree was an amazing planner and easy and great to work with. As well as Stephanie Ford for her great makeup artistry.
We weren’t nervous at all. I think before we got to the island we were a little bit nervous but once we arrived we immediately were on island time and we realized everything would be ok if at the end of the day we ended up married. The steps and details don’t matter as much as the end of the day outcome, married to each other.
