It was only the second shop I’d visited and I was with 3 of my bridesmaids – Anna, Helen and Lois. I’d been to a different shop in the morning and tried various different styles on, so I had an idea what I wanted by the time I came to try some on at Love Bridal Boutique. It’s a dress by Made With Love which is an Australian brand, so I knew they’d be ok for a wedding in the heat of Spain. I tried a few different styles on from the same brand, but the one I chose was the one which made me most excited and I felt really comfortable in it. I then took my Mum back with me to check she approved, and we bought it then!

It was exactly what we wanted – relaxed, party atmosphere with everyone having a great time. We are incredibly lucky to have such lovely friends and family, and to have so many people travel to Spain to celebrate with us was really, really special

Get yourself a wedding planner like Sunshine Weddings! We couldn’t have done it without them, and it was all so stress free on the day that we could really let our hair down and enjoy ourselves. Also, don’t sweat the small stuff. At the end of the day, the bits that you think are important are often the last thing any of your guests notice. Flowers, table decorations etc are all lovely touches, but what makes a good wedding is the people that attend it.

Alex ordered pretty much every combination of shirt, chinos and shorts available on the internet and eventually settled on a shirt and chinos!

I am a huge Harry Potter fan so Alex had put a little note saying ‘will you marry me’ in a golden snitch necklace, which he gave to me on a pier in Dubai after we’d had an incredible meal at the fantastic Pier Chic restaurant. I was so pleased with the golden snitch necklace, I just put it on and walked off without opening it or reading the note! Eventually I looked at it, and laughed my head off as I was so shocked. Our lovely friends Jonny and Katie were then waiting for us with champagne to celebrate.

We worked together when Alex was 23 and Jade was 22. It was love at first sight….for Alex. I (Jade) took some convincing….!! We went on our first date to the Trafford Center in Manchester and played crazy golf, and I won, obviously!

Jade – getting ready with the girls in the morning, walking down the aisle with my Dad and our first dance. Alex – all of our friends and family being together in Spain, having a great time.

My (Jade) wedding ring was made using the diamonds and platinum from a ring that my Dad gave to my Mum for her 21st birthday, which felt really special on the day and I love wearing it now.

I had the giggles! I think it must have been nervous laughter.

We were most anxious about everyone having a good time, having dragged everyone all the way over to Spain. We needn’t have worried as all our guests had a great time and most of them have told us they want to do it all over again!

There were loads of us – 2 best men, 6 bridesmaids and 8 ushers, plus our family. So it was chaos at times trying to organise everyone, but it was such a laugh. They were some of our favourite moments.

We stayed together the night before the wedding, and I was glad we did. It made it more chilled in the morning and less of a drama trying to avoid each other. Also it was exciting waking up together knowing we were getting married that day.

Jade’s Mum and Dad have a holiday home on Puebla Aida which is close to the venue, so this area of Spain is very special to us and our family. Also if we’re honest, the weather in the UK is usually crap….!!

Use someone who you like and feel you can get on with, like we did with Rebecca. She was so friendly and chatty that she made it all fun.

Great fun! We were worried about the photos prior to the wedding because we’re both very awkward in front of the camera, but with you we felt totally relaxed.

Gabrielle – Dreams. It was a song we’d danced to on a fun, drunken night in Spain on the trip when we chose Hacienda San Jose as our venue, and it was great fun to dance to on our wedding day.

Through Sunshine Weddings. We then had a Skype call and because Rebecca was so friendly and chatty, we knew we’d get on with her great.

Through a google search.
