Jules + Todd | Beautiful Wedding at the Westin

February 11, 2013

Jules and Todd tied the knot on beautiful Seven Mile Beach in front of the Westin, surrounded by friends and family.  When Jules and Todd first inquired they wanted so badly to be married on 12.12.12, but we were booked already for that day. So they changed their date to 13.12.12! I was so thrilled when I met these guys and knew we were going to have fun! I was fortunate enough to spend some time with these guys before the ceremony and take them to a few of my favourite spots for photos.  Jules & Todd were kind enough to share their vows with us…just beautiful!!

JULES

“Todd, 4 years ago you captured my heart by being exactly who you are. The sweetest, most loving, smart, and sensitive person I have ever known. You have been my very best friend through the good and the bad. You have been the reason that I smile and you have given comfort beyond measure when I have cried. You have believed in me when no one else would, and you have shown me how to love with passion, purity, and unconditional acceptance. I’m not sure a lifetime is long enough to return all you have given to me, but I promise the rest of my days I’ll spend by your side. To laugh with you and cry with you, to believe in you and support you. In poverty I promise to do everything to make our love rich, and in wealth to never let our love grow poor. Together we are better than we could ever hope to be alone, and today I give you my love, my trust, and my fidelity forever. You will ALWAYS be the best part of my day.”

“I am so comfortable standing up here today on this beautiful beach in front of our family and friends to marry you. I’m not nervous, scared, doubtful, or fearful… I am 110% sure you are the woman for me. You and I have spent the last 5 years on a journey. A journey that has taken us all over the country, to different jobs, different states and different ways of life. In all that change you have been the one constant in my life. In 2009, when we found out our project was being cancelled, and only after 9 months together, you made a huge leap of faith. You decided to give up the town you’ve called home and sacrifice your career to follow me. I knew you were nervous, scared, doubtful and fearful and had no idea what to expect.

The day we left Vegas, I knew I was starting my life with you. Since that day I have been determined not to let you down. I stand in front of you today to tell you I will never quit on you, I will never stop loving you and I will never fail you. I love you so much.”

We also thought we would share Todd’s hilarious story of how they met…

TODD

“I met Juliet while filing an employee complaint. Because federal law prohibits an employee (me) from viciously beating down another (The Cougher), I was forced to swallow my pride and file a formal complaint about a man who would spit and cough all over the building. So as I entered the Human Resources building to meet with employee concerns, I was immediately awestruck. Juliet did not know who this horribly dressed young man was that was asking her out for a bite to eat, but for some reason, she agreed. After convincing me to burn all my old clothes and invest in a new wardrobe, she was ready for the dating to begin!

She soon learned about this young fellow who told her of his daily 3am wake-up for the gym, his private pilot lessons, and his love for food.

Since leaving Las Vegas together on nothing short of a leap of faith on Jules’ part, we have become inseparable. We have lived and worked in 4 states since leaving NV and we love to travel when we have the chance.

When I first met Juliet, I had no idea where the relationship would end up, had no idea of the ups and downs, or the unexpected, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. The most ironic thing is that someone so vile, so heartless, so disgusting would lead me to a woman who is so beautiful, so compassionate, and so loving! I am forever grateful to The Hacker for introducing me to her!”

Although Todd’s vows are slightly more romantic :)…. couldn’t resist adding Todd’s hilarious story of how they met…

You guys were an absolute pleasure to be around and I’m so thankful you chose me to be a part of telling your story!

Guys you gotta love the YELLOW shoes right?? AND the bridesmaids dresses are stunning, all different and classic grey!
