The Dress
We flew to Miami and went to miracle mile… must have tried on at least 40 dresses before I found that one. We found it in the last store! And my sister said, yup that’s the one, and my mom agreed and so did I 🙂 it was perfect for the beach and just what I was looking for.
What was your favourite moments from the wedding
Oh gosh… all of it. Getting ready with my girls, Dad singing for me the song he wrote for the wedding, I loved going to point of sand to take pictures, Dancing with Will
How did you choose the grooms outfit
In a Ralph Lauren changing room in Vegas, haha
How did you two meet
We were told by a mutual friend, Louisa Gibson, that we would be perfect for each other if I could get used to Will’s clothing choices, haha! Then we went out a few months later (took him a while to ask me out), and that was that!!
How did he pop the question
He carried the ring all the way from Cayman to the top of a mountain in New Zealand on our vacation, Jan 2019. He asked someone to take our picture (which he never does!) and then waited for them to leave so that we were alone, got on one knee with a very beautiful ring… it was amazing
How did you feel during your vows or just before you walked down the aisle
Sooooo happy, so excited, Will looked sooo nervous and so handsome
How would you describe your overall wedding experience
AMAZING I want to do it again
What advice would you offer other couples planning a destination wedding
Get a wedding planner at the destination 🙂 and a professional day of planner
