THE DRESS
My wedding dress journey began with a flight to Miami and a mission: find the dress. I headed straight to Miracle Mile in Coral Gables with my Maid of Honour and best friend, Jacqueline, my beautiful daughter Victoria, and two more of my besties, Joanne and Amanda. The goal was clear—and non-negotiable: the dress had to have a thigh-high split and pockets.
😊 Jacqueline had already lined up appointments, and our first stop delivered a strong contender. More importantly, I got the best piece of advice from the bridal consultant: “Limit yourself to two stores—any more, and it just becomes overwhelming.” She was so right. After scooping up Joanne from the airport and grabbing some lunch, we headed to our second appointment @BellissimaBridalDesigns with Yadiris. I tried on several dresses and quickly narrowed it down to two—both had my must-haves (split and pockets!).
Then I slipped into Ansel by @SophiaTolli—a stunning pearl Mikado gown—and that was it. She made me feel beautiful, elegant, light (because yes, bridal dresses are heavy!), and most importantly, me. Ansel was the one because she made me feel confident, comfortable, and sophisticated—with just the right amount of sexy, without showing any cleavage. 😊 It was everything I wanted, and sharing that moment with my girls made it all the more special.

THE DAY
Working with our wedding planner, our clear and persistent vision came to life, and @FiveStarEventsCayman ultimately met our expectations. Juliette brought a wealth of knowledge, valuable contacts, and a great understanding of wedding planning, helping guide us toward achievable priorities that truly mattered.
In the end, our wedding was beautiful and reflected the key elements we cared about most. We’re grateful and appreciative for the work that went into making everything come together and for such a super fun evening with our family and friends.

HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET
It was a chance to meet through a mutual friend at lunch. As anyone who knows Dallas would expect, he was chatty, flashing those baby blue eyes and that every present smile – just enough to catch Katherine’s attention. We talked a lot that day, and there was an instant, subtle spark—a mutual curiosity and quiet attraction we both felt. Though that lunch was our first meeting, it wasn’t quite our beginning. It would take another year, and a few intentional steps, before our paths truly aligned and our connection began to grow into something more.

HOW DID DALLAS POP THE QUESTION
It was a magical, beautiful evening—complete with a light rain shower (a sign of blessings, they say) and a full presence of the Cayman national bird…aka mosquitoes. 😊
Dallas had rented the stunning Kempa Kai villa in Rum Point and arranged for a violinist to play all my favorite songs. Just before sunset, he walked me into the property—blindfolded—and led me out to the back pool deck and beach. When he removed the blindfold, I saw a large heart made of flowers in the sand, with the words “Will you marry me” laid out inside it.
Nervous but determined, Dallas took my hand and led me into the heart, then dropped to one knee. He asked me to marry him—and I said yes! At that exact moment, the rain came pouring down and our poor photographer slipped while running for shelter. It was chaos and magic all at once.
Then, out of hiding came my besties—we hugged, laughed, and kissed as the rain braked. It was so perfectly perfect.
But Dallas wasn’t done.
As we sipped champagne, I noticed none other than @chefeliotwilkie inside the villa. Dallas had arranged for Chef Eliot to prepare a private, beautiful dinner for two. The villa and bedroom were thoughtfully decorated, and after my besties left, we shared a candlelit dinner with wine and quiet joy.
And then—mid-dinner—Dallas casually told me that he had planned our engagement party for the very next day, with about 50 people invited! Classic Dallas—he loves his people, and I love how many people love us.
It was a night (and weekend) full of celebration, love, laughter, and memories we’ll cherish forever with family and friends.

FIRST LOOK
Taking photos with my beautiful daughter and my bridesmaids was one of the most special parts of the day. The love, the laughter, the energy—every moment felt full and genuine.
Our first look was pure magic. There was so much emotion, and the feeling of love at that moment is something I’ll never forget.
@rebeccadavidsonphotography whisked us away to the sandbar for some unforgettable shots. We laughed, walked, and even ran through low grass—burs and all! It was raw, real, and perfectly imperfect in the best way.
Another fun photo opt was the impromptu walk on the dock during dinner so much fun and magical.

THE AISLE
Dallas had a feeling of nervousness while excited
I equally felt nervous with a sense of calm with my daughter, Victoria by my side (my little supporter) and just true happiness

FOR RICHER OR RICHER
Our wedding day was filled with unforgettable moments—some planned, some beautifully unexpected—that made the celebration uniquely us.
First, during the ceremony, Katherine had a little twist in her vows. Instead of saying “for richer or poorer,” she confidently promised to be “richer and richer”—cue the crowd bursting into laughter! It was a lighthearted moment that perfectly set the tone for the day.
Bride, daughter and bridemaids all wore glam sneakers by @BetseyJohnson.
We reserved a seat in honor of our loved ones who are no longer with us—my late dad, mum, cousin, and Dallas’s father. Their presence was deeply felt throughout the day.
And then there was the Champagne—not just any Champagne. We served 12-liter Balthazars of Bollinger, with a sommelier expertly (and very carefully!) decanting it using a cradle. The process was a show in itself, and when the cork finally popped, the entire crowd cheered.
To officially kick off the party, our wedding party surprised everyone with a choreographed group dance to “Criminals” by @MeghanTrainor—straight out of the #movie #Perfect Couple. It brought the energy up, the crowd to their feet, and the night into full celebration mode.
Every detail, from heartfelt to hilarious, came together to create a day full of love, laughter, and memories we’ll never forget.

THE KISS
When we finally saw each other for the first time that day, time seemed to pause. Our first kiss in that moment was tender… with just a hint of aggression and juices flowing through the body 😊
We were overwhelmed—in the best way—with love, tingles and excitement. I think I can speak for us both when I say: butterflies took over, our hearts raced, and we were completely wrapped in happiness and the magic of it all.

THE VENUE
We chose @RumPointClub, nestled in the district of North Side, because it’s truly one of the most beautiful spots in Grand Cayman. With its perfect sunsets, crystal clear water, soft white sand, and a canopy of Casuarina and coconut trees, it felt like a slice of paradise.
The venue was lit to perfection with warm bistro lights strung throughout the property, creating a magical atmosphere. We thoughtfully designed the layout with a mix of round, banquet, and serpentine tables with a dance floor perfectly placed next to the DJ booth and a fun photo booth experience by @partyboothcayman.
The food was exceptional, the staff were attentive, and the entire night unfolded exactly as we had imagined. It was a perfect blend of elegance, island charm, and celebration.

THE CAKE
During the cake cutting, the atmosphere turned magical as @chrisbailey888 performed the Andrea Bocelli version of “Perfect,” giving everyone goosebumps.

TRADITIONS
In our family, it’s tradition for the youngest to bless the food before a big meal. Staying true to that, we made sure my nephew Abraham had the honor of saying grace before dinner—a moment that made the evening even more special.
Just special: One of the most touching moments of the evening was a beautiful speech given by my niece, Lesli. She spoke from the heart about our family and paid a heartfelt tribute to my late parents.
Just special: My big brother, @thor.560—aka Danny—took on the role of Master of Ceremonies, and he was off the chain! He brought the perfect mix of hype, heart, and humor, keeping the energy high and the crowd fully engaged.

THE RECEPTION
Definitely a highlight was our choreographed group dance to “Criminals” by @MeghanTrainor—from the movie Perfect Couple. It was high-energy, full of laughter, and totally set the tone for the celebration.
For the bridal party entrance, the bridesmaids and groomsmen came in from the restaurant to “I Gotta Feeling” by the #BlackEyedPeas, hyping up the crowd. Then came our entrance—Dallas and I surprised everyone by entering from the dance floor behind the guests to “Firework” by #KatyPerry.
Cold Sparklers blasted off as we made our way through the tables, greeting our guests. The moment was electric. Most of the crowd didn’t even realize we were behind them at first, which made it even more magical. It felt amazing walking through the people who know us, love us, and were there to celebrate us!

SHOUTOUTS
My bestie and creative mastermind, Jacqueline – @jax_345, was the force behind our vision. She curated every detail on our Pinterest board and didn’t miss a single thing—from the placement of napkins to motorized fans at the tables to keep guests cool. Her eye for detail was unmatched!
And of course, I can’t forget Dallas—our research king—who dove deep into everything from budgeting to décor. He was the one who discovered the serpentine tables, and once we saw them, we knew we had to have them!
@jax_345 also designed all of the wedding signage, which was beautifully brought to life by @priscilla_maragh. Every sign was a perfect reflection of our theme.
We’re so appreciative of @fivestareventscayman for flawlessly executing the setup and coordinating closely with @massive_rental_cayman, whose extensive rental inventory helped bring our vision to life seamlessly.
@fivestareventscayman also worked hand-in-hand with @theflowerdell to ensure our floral arrangements were not only beautiful, but perfectly reflected the look and feel we had imagined. Every detail came together with care, precision, and creativity.
Our cake was a true showstopper—stunningly designed and flawlessly executed by @thecakestudio. Lori Ann truly delivered!
@partyboothcayman brought their A team and the booth was a true hit to all guests!
The natural beauty of @rumpointclub didn’t require much more—its casuarina, coconut, and palm trees paired with the warm bistro lighting created the perfect atmosphere. It was everything we envisioned and more.
