How did you two meet
We met 17 years ago in primary school. From there it was an on again off again crush for the both of us. We officially rekindled in college and the rest as they say is history.
How did he pop the question
I was having the worst day. He came by after I was finished working and brought me flowers and something to eat. I wasn’t expecting it..the next thing I know, he’s down on one knee and popping the question.
What was your favourite moments from the wedding
The uncontrollable laughter and the open bar! Best decision I could make!
How would you describe your overall wedding experience
In one word – AMAZING!! It was everything I wanted and more.
Did you see each other before the wedding
As untraditional as our wedding was – I pushed for the wait. I stayed home and did the final touches while G had a hotel room for the night. I was sure he would’ve cried for his first look and I really wanted to see it.
What advice would you offer other couples planning a destination wedding?
Trust the process and your planner! Be honest with what your want and be open to other options. Do your research and expect the unexpected.
What photography related advice would you offer to a couple
Be natural, be relaxed and let it flow. Don’t force anything – you’ll be surprised at how amazing the photos will look when you’re not trying.

It was a mix of At Last – Etta James and I Can’t Help Falling In Love – Elvis Presley
How was your experience with your wedding planner
She was absolutely amazing! I literally gave her the bare minimum and she wowed us with everything. I gave her a color and I told her who I preferred with the style of music l. I wanted fun, elegant and classy and she made it happen. I would 100% do it again!
