Since the groom’s first language is French and his family spoke French his entire life growing up, we decided to do a bilingual ceremony. We also decided to flip the script and say our vows in the other person’s language, so he said his in English and I said mine in French. I made a slight hiccup during the ceremony and wrote the wrong part down, so my part got repeated twice during the ceremony, but only the French language people understood.

Alain’s mom passed away when he was 19. She loved Jasmin trees and Joanne (Natalie’ mom) was kind enough to bring a few that she placed down the aisle. It provided a special touch for him and his family and made it like his mom was also part of the wedding

Natalie was cool as a cucumber but he was seeing black spots but ended up being ok

Their shoes were tricky, but we settled on Toms and they were all hooked. Bowties were handmade and a huge hit as well

I grew up in the Cayman Islands and went to high school there. It was really special having all of our friends and family who had never been there before and watching them experience the beauty of the island for the first time.

Having our friends and family around for on the beach with the beautiful sunset

Amazing. We love having our guests over for 3 days in the Cayman Islands and joining us for adventures. Everyone loved the stingrays

Went to dinner at one of my favourite restaurants and he slid the ring box across the table and said. What are you doing for the rest of your life and smirked.

I didn’t have a typical ah ha dress moment, but there was a small store in the Old Port of Montreal and I had a few appointments there with an amazing sales girl who went above and beyond and my mind kept coming back to the same dress. It was the one I felt the most beautiful in.

The Jasmin trees specified before were special.

We met once or twice before, but he asked me out officially at a mutual friends going away party for law school. He left the party but then decided to come back and get my number. Ice was pretty close to walking away but made the bold move that paid off and here we are!

We did see each other the day before, but made sure to prepare in separate locations on the weeding day. It made seeing each other for the first time that day very special

We danced our first couples dance to Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo’Ole. Beautiful. My father daughter dance was to Uptown Girl by Billy Joel.
