Julie & Patrick | Grand Old House Wedding

February 20, 2013

Julie and Patrick hopped off the Celebrity Constellation cruise ship along with 50 of their closest friends and family and made their way to beautiful Grand Old House!  What a gorgeous day for a wedding too – the sea was just a magical mix of blues…perfect backdrop for a ceremony by the sea!  The groom and groomsmen all had superhero t-shirts on under their wedding attire – a total surprise – when they revealed their shirts everyone jumped up and started snapping photos!  They all had matching cufflinks as well…too much fun!! 🙂

I took Julie and Patrick in my car and drove them to Camana Bay where we got some super cute shots of them before I had to get them back to the cruise ship.  Thank you guys SO much for choosing me to be a part of your big day!  We hope you come back and visit us again soon!!

Here is what Julie and Patrick had to say…

“Desiree with the Grand Old House helped us choose everything. She was absolutely amazing! I never imagined that a wedding planned from 1600 miles away sight unseen could meet and exceed all of my expectations and dreams of the perfect wedding!

My best advice to Brides planning a destination wedding is to find a wedding coordinator you can trust who can communicate well and understands the stress and importance of every detail. The most amazing part of all of this is that it was orchestrated by Desiree. She recommended everyone we worked with and nailed it!

Patrick and I hit the wedding trifecta jackpot!! Between Desiree, Rebecca and Thanks and Praises we could not have been happier!!”

From the groom:
“The magic was in the intangibles. As the harpist played Spanish Romance, Julie walked down the aisle in her Athenian like wedding dress from BHLDN.  With a style kissed neckline, the butterflies appliquéd into the dress it seemed to carry this beautiful bride down the aisle.   As Julie took her place with me at the aisle, butterflies actually flew past us taking everyone’s breathe away. No one could believe that these majestic creatures that represent new beginnings were not planned but flew by through fate.  The look that we had in our eyes as we became husband and wife spoke more to the guests and minister than 1,000 words could ever have expressed.”
